Between Sessions - A companion journal for coaching clients
Much of the change in coaching happens between sessions, in the days when you put a conversation into practice. Between Sessions keeps the thread from one session to the next. After each session you capture the insight and your commitments, with a plan for the moment things get hard. During the week you note your progress in a line a day. Before your next session you gather what happened, so you arrive ready to go deeper. It works with any coach and any coaching approach, for up to twelve sessions. Inside the journal • A coaching goals page, with space for your coach's name • Twelve session cycles of three pages: after the session, seven days of progress and before the next session • A "When this happens, I will do that" plan for every commitment • A two-page closing review • A how-to section with worked examples Who it's for • Coaching clients who want more from each session • Coaches who want to give clients a structured companion between sessions • Coaching providers and leadership programmes supplying a journal to participants • Mentees who want to keep track of their commitments How it works About ten minutes after each session, a line a day in between, and ten minutes before the next session.
